A unique collaboration between acclaimed winemaker, James Foster and Pat Monahan, lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning band, Train, Drops of Jupiter is named after the hit song that catapulted Pat and the band to stardom. Crafted from grapes grown in some of South Eastern Australia’s most premium winegrowing regions, this heroic Cabernet has an intense crimson color and delivers bold spice and rich, dark fruit. Generous concentration of fruit, tannins and mouthfeel offer amazing drinkability with a density and complexity typically found only in Cabernets two-to-three times the cost. The fruit was left on vine longer than normal to enhance palate structure and maximize flavors. Harvest occurred during the night hours in March and April. 3 months aging on French oak. Pairs well with filet mignon with balsalmic glaze and roasted potatoes.
